WELCOME TO THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR!
My name is Katie Wardisiani and I am the Gifted and Talented Program Coordinator. I am also
the Instructional Coach supporting our fantastic team of educators and paraprofessionals. In addition, I
am the Co-Director for our After-School Program. This will be my 13th year of teaching, and my 6th
year at Clinton School. I am honored to be a part of this school and its community.
I am a graduate from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois with my Bachelor’s Degree
in Elementary Education with Middle School endorsements in Mathematics, Language Arts and Social
Sciences. I have my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.
In my first five years of teaching in Illinois, I taught both general and accelerated Math and Science
curriculum for 8th grade students. I have experience as a Special Education paraprofessional and a Fine
Arts teacher in the world of Music, Band, Choir, PE, Spanish and Art, both at Clinton School. I then
taught 4th grade students in Missoula for two years teaching all subjects. For three years after that, I
returned to Clinton School as the Title 1 Program Coordinator while also working as the GT
Interventionist.
Clinton School’s GT program mission statement states, we strive to engage and empower our
gifted and talented students with continuous lifelong learning across all content areas. We are
committed to providing a curriculum rich in depth & challenging in complexity through the use of
research-based and data-driven strategic instruction. Through passionate and engaging leadership we
will provide a unique learning experience in order to meet each student’s needs and abilities, making
sure to not only challenge and empower their social emotional needs, but also to set them up for
academic success.
I am looking forward to working with & supporting your student this year. My passion as a
teacher is to help students achieve a sense of personal growth and achievement in their learning. My
personal goal is to help students develop a love for learning and to help them acquire good work and
study habits for their future school years. I truly believe every student can succeed regardless of their
learning style, level or capability. I plan on providing a supportive learning environment by teaching
through as many learning activities, and engaging passion projects as I can to help them have an
enjoyable and successful school year.
Communication is the key to great parent-teacher relationships, and it is very essential for your
child’s academic growth. Throughout this year, I encourage you to contact me if you have any
questions or concerns at any time. I check my email daily, and this is often the quickest and most
efficient way to get in touch with me, or to discuss any of your concerns. I will respond promptly.
Please feel free to email me at [email protected] at any time. Otherwise, please call
406-825-3113 Ext 250. Thank you in advance for your time and involvement in your student’s
education. Together, we can make a difference! Cheers to an amazing year!
